DAVIS: Artist, Author, Technologist
Joshua Davis is a New York artist and technologist producing both public
and private work on and off the Web. His site : http://www.praystation.com
was the winner of the 2001 Prix Ars Electronica Golden Nica in the category
Net Excellence, the highest honor in international net art and design.
Honored as one of the IPPA's 2000 / 2001 Ten Most Creative People. He
lectures globally on his work, inspirations and motivations. Josh has
been interviewed in diverse media ranging from broadcast television, CNN
to MTV – print magazines GQ, appeared on the cover of Shift in Toronto,
the BBC, Creative Review, Create Online, IdN, the New York Times.
Josh has recently collected his inspirations, musings and thoughts on
design in his first effort at authorship - Flash to the Core: An Interactive

STEPHAN DICKINSON
Steve graduated in 1994 from DeVry Woodbridge with a degree in Computer
Information Systems. After 18 months as a manager in the support decision
of Quantex Microsystems, Steve returned to his first true love, computer
graphics and animation. Relocating to Pompano Beach, Florida he began
a six-month tour as an animator before returning to the Northeast. Here
he took up the mantle of Technology Trainer for the School of Visual Arts.
After 15 months of supporting the staff of the school, Steve turned his
attention to the scholastic side of educational process, and took over
as the Windows network administrator for the BFA Computer Art department.
When not up to the elbows in networking protocols, Steve spends his time
animating, swordfighting, writing, watching anime, or attempting to educate
the students on the deeper meanings held within Transformers, the Motion
Picture.

Katrin Eismann is the chair of the MPS in Digital Photography department at the School of Visual Arts. She is the author of Photoshop Restoration & Retouching and Photoshop Masking & Compositing and co-author of: The Creative Digital Darkroom and Real World Digital Photography. She received her BFA degree in Photographic Illustration from the Rochester Institute of Technology and her MFA degree in Design from the School of Visual Arts.
