FACULTY | STAFF

A unique aspect of SVA is that our faculty is comprised of working professionals: artists who like to teach. In the traditional academic sense, we do not have full-time, tenured faculty. This fact profoundly impacts the quality of the education you will receive at SVA. Our faculty rarely needs to be encouraged to learn the latest applications - they use them every day in their work. Our faculty rarely needs to be informed of the most current industry trends - they are in the industry establishing those trends. Our faculty understands that creative skills and techniques are required to perform as a professional artist in a highly competitive field. Their day-to-day experience is yours to learn, all you have to do is ask.

The Computer Art Staff is outstanding. It is their hard work that determines how efficiently you can complete your work. It is their supportive attitude that sets the mood for each member of the faculty as they come to SVA to teach. You can always buy more computers but a staff like ours is extremely hard to find.
